Jakarta, 22 June 2016 – The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta held an Iftar which dedicated to the employees, owning company, media and top clients together with 50 orphans on June 22nd, 2016 at Lagoon Garden. At the same time, DKI Jakarta is also celebrates its 489th anniversary. To commemorate the day, we also served a little Betawi atmosphere in the decoration and cuisines, there were Kerak Telor, Gabus Pucung, Selendang Mayang and many more in the corner of Lagoon Garden.
The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta used “Green Light Ramadhan” as the theme and collaborated with Martha Tilaar to add more festive in this outdoor event. Various of sessions have been prepared to welcome an Iftar. Martha Tilaar held a beauty class to anyone who wanted to know how to take care skin health during fasting period. Other than that, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta also held a painting and drawing class to The Orphans from Yayasan Putra Nusa to develop their art knowledge. After these two classes have done, we continued to shared the donations to 50 orphans from Yayasan Putra Nusa by The Management of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta.
Furthermore, the event becomes warmer with the presence of public figures ‘Lala Karmela’ and Martha Tilaar in talkshow session and continued with a spiritual cleansing ‘Tauziah’ by Ustadz H. Sukeri Abdillah MBA while waiting for fast-breaking. This event was more enlivened when ‘adzan Maghrib’ reverb. By the time of breakfasting, everyone enjoyed the Ta’jil delicacies and continued with praying together (Sholat Maghrib). While everyone were enjoying the Iftar Ramadhan Buffet that special prepared by Mr. Maulana Malik Ibrahim – Executive Chef, all the guest was entertained by the Arabic Live Music Performance.
This event is an annual event of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta, what made it different is only on the theme. This year, the theme was Green Light Ramadhan, meant a green light to The Orphans to feel the love from all around them and also a green light to us and all guest, for giving each other especially to The Orphans from Yayasan Putra Nusa. We hope this could be usefull and blessed all of them.
