After much anticipation, the all new Four Seasons Jakarta officially opens its door to the public today. Located on Jalan Gatot Subroto within the city’s Central Business District, the all-new Capital Place, an award-winning architectural landmark by César Pelli, is home to leading businesses, and now, the stunning new Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta.
What’s New Jakarta recently had an exclusive sneak peek of the brand new hotel, with its exciting dining options, appointed spa and beautiful spaces. From the moment one enters the soaring lobby with its grand staircase lit by a magnificent crystal chandelier, a classical European aesthetic is reflected in the color palettes, materials and finishes, fine furnishings and sophisticated lighting.
The breathtaking interior throughout the hotel was designed by Alexandra Champalimaud, the leading women in the field of hospitality design that has designed some of the world’s most distinctive properties.
Upon entering, you will be presented with Four Seasons’ exciting f&b options. You won’t miss the beautiful and Versailles-esque La Patisserie, where Pastry Chef Lorenzo Sollecito’s expertise is on full display in cases of confections from gâteaux and macarons to éclairs, financiers and madeleines. In an elegant, robin’s egg blue salon that would have made Marie Antoinette herself feel at home.
Then there’s the elegantly Nautilus Bar, as if emerging from a 1920s cruise ship graced by kings and queens of the old world.
Straight through from the entrance, the hotel’s all day dining lobby restaurant Palm Courts greets with its glittering chandelier, custom made by world-renowned Lasvit, suspended from a ceiling 13 metres (43 feet) above, with tall windows opening to a garden terrace.
The menus are international in flavour with delicate local influences, but tradition reigns supreme in the daily Palm Court High Tea, with exquisite sweets by Chef Sollecito.
The hotel features 125 all-suites accommodations that all feels as much a luxurious residence as a modern hotel. Champalimaud’s refined design details and rich furnishings are punctuated with discreet, at-one’s– fingertips technologies and thoughtful considerations for which Four Seasons is known, with sliding pocket doors separating sleeping areas from living areas, guests are free to settle in and make each suite their own.
Like the Hotel itself, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta takes its inspiration from Southeast Asian cultures woven with global influences and updated with the most advanced therapies, done in its eight treatment rooms with two couple’s suites.
The spa also gives access to a hammam, a unique spaceship like relaxation lounge, and a secluded outdoor pool on the fifth floor rooftop is surrounded by tropical landscaping that was designed by top landscaper Bill Bensley.
The Hotel is extending its Introductory Offer featuring a daily credit of IDR 1 million through July 31, and IDR 500,000 from August 1 to September 30, 2016. Guests may also choose the popular Bed and Breakfast package, which includes daily breakfast for two in the Palm Court, or the privacy of one’s suite.
