In case you haven’t noticed the hashtags plastered all over social media and on the billboards around town, today is Indonesia’s very own mega online shopping day #harbolnas2017 or ‘Hari Belanja Online 2017’ where all major e-commerce websites offer crazy discounts for one day on December 12th, although some companies extend their sales of up to 1 to 3 days before or after the 12th.

First initiated 5 years ago an initiative of i Lazada Indonesia, Zalora, Blanja, PinkEmma, Berrybenka and Bukalapak, you can say that Harbolnas is Indonesia’s answer to USA’s Cyber Monday, and has been picking up quite the traction. This year’s Harbolnas is participated by more than 250 online shops.  During last year’s 3 days long Harbolnas, online transaction was estimated to reach more than Rp. 3 Trillion (USD 220 million) throughout the participating companies.

Fashion & Miscellany: 

Berrybenka.com offers 30% off storewide discount for 2 or more items by using SHOP1212 promo code, up to 95% off select items, and 25% additional discount for Mandiri card holders.

Zalora.com offers up to 80% off discount on their fashion products, with additional discounts for Mandiri card holders, XL customers, and DOKU wallet users.

Blibli.com has 12.12 BLIBLI HISTERIA of up to 80% discount or Rp 12,000 price tags.

Lazada.co.id offers a myriad of items with free ‘ongkir’ or shipping fee and store wide discounts of up to 85%.

pomelofashion.com/id up to 42% off on all full-priced item, and additional 8% for orders more than Rp. 800,000.

Beauty: 

Shop for Japanese (and some well-curated Indonesian) beauty products at nihonmart.id  with up to 30% off discounts.

thebodyshop.co.id offers 50% off online exclusive discounts on their cruelty free beauty products from 11 to 13 December.

Home & Health: 

dekoruma.com offers 100k voucher plus up to 55% off discounts from 12 to 14 December.

Beware of foul play ; there were many reports of fake discounts applied by some e-commerce where prices were marked up for more than 100% just so they can slap a 90% off tag.
