Fairmont Jakarta held its very first Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on 5 December 2017, showcasing the first 8-meter BVLGARI Christmas Tree in Indonesia that will be displayed at the Hotel’s Main Lobby until 5 January 2018.
The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony also marks the official beginning of the festive season at Fairmont Jakarta. During the evening, the Hotel also launched its special afternoon tea for the festive season, in collaboration with celebrity chef Farah Quinn, through a special food parade by Fairmont Jakarta team.
Available in Peacock Lounge throughout the season until 6 January 2018, the Around-The- World Festive Afternoon Tea by Farah Quinn is inspired by her traveling journey – presenting some of her favorite delights that she encountered in many destinations around the world that she has visited.
Guests attending the event were also entertained by the performance of instrumental music from Hanny Angel’s Children Strings and Christmas choir from Pondok Taruna Orphanage.
