The week of Italian Cuisine in Jakarta

To Celebrate 2nd Edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 20 – 26 November 2017, The Embassy of Italy and The Italian Cultural Institue Jakarta presnet ‘The Extraordinary Italian Taste’ Settimana Della Cucita Italiana Nel Mondo. The celebration invities the public to learn more about Italian cuisine and products through several events that run for the whole week in Jakarta.

Yesterday, 22 November 2017, Chef Andrea Torelli, the 5th ed. Masterchef Italia and the owner of Zibiru, Bali, visited IIC to teach a cooking class. Participants are learning to make fresh pasta and a special traditional dish ‘fregola sarda with seafood’.

In the four days ahead, the celebration continues with another cooking class by Chef Nonno Adelio from La pergola Restaurant at Universitas Muhamadiyah Yogyakarta, film screenings in Bali, wine dinner and wine tasting at Doublletree by Hilton Hotel Jakarta, and special Italian food and beverage in-store promotions at Ranch Market organized by Italian Trade Agency.
