Asus Zen 3 series, which includes a range of entry level to premium phones tablets and laptops was launched today (7/9) in Nusa Dua, Bali, marking its official release for the Indonesian market.
Following the success of its Zenfone 2 launched last year, The Zenfone 3 now introduces a wider range of product and price point the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 Max, Zenfone 3 Laser varies in price point from IDR 2,199,000 to IDR 11,099,000.
“This range of phone is the most advanced that ASUS has ever created, and that has many features that we believe no other phones currently have”, ASUS CEO said in the launch.
He also added that ASUS also promises equal to higher quality from its competitors, with a much more affordable price. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe compares itself to the iPhone 6s Plus, with a 23 MP camera, World’s 1st S821 2.4GHz Processor, World’s 1st 6GB RAM, and retails at IDR 9,009,000.
ASUS seems to also boasts Zenfone 3 Another key feature of this range of new Zenfone is its photography capabilities; which include the latest Sony® IMX298 sensor, six-element Largan lens with a large f/2.0 aperture, and subject-tracking TriTech auto-focus for variable distance and lighting clarity in just 0.03 seconds — all protected by sapphire glass for literal crystal clarity that’s intensely resistant to scratches and damage. With both optical and electronic image stabilization for blur-free shots and video, color correction sensor for true color photography, and true 4K UHD video recording. This is definitely a phone ‘Built for Photography’ as the tagline promotes.
Also launched was the ASUS Transformer 3 Series, a 2 in 1 ‘mobile’ PC that’s under 700 gram and 6,9 mm thin –one of the slimmest laptop computer we’ve seen around–, which retails starting from that will definitely give top premium tablets and laptops a serious competition.
