Recently opened in Plaza Indonesia, Mother Monster is starting to gain popularity as a fun and chill hangout place for coffee, dining, and alcohol. Each three of them got a maximum attention from Mother Monster, and coffee addicts can count on Common Grounds who partnered with the restaurant.

Pink wall, cactus trees, and fresh smell of coffee; the place is easy to spot. As you enter the place, you will instantly understand their concept. It is playful, sarcastic, and easy going. You don’t need to dress up for the place, just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

There are three areas separated by colors; the first one is a coffee area that dominated by neutral grey, in the middle is the indoor non-smoking dining space that monopolized by soft pink, and lastly is the bar and outdoor smoking area that decorated in dark green. The green outdoor space is super relaxing and still can be comfortable for everyone, even for the non-smokers.

Mother Monster describes its food as New American. It’s a modern version of American cuisine that we all know and familiar with. She even named all the menu creatively with word plays that will bring smirks on your face.

Evening is definitely the best time to enjoy some small bites and libation from Mother Monster. Chill natural air and a little of orange sunshine can be enjoyed at their outdoor area during this time. On the bar nibbles menu selection, you will find the perfect snacks to accompany your favorite alcohol. Mother Monster especially recommends Monster Chicken Skin, a secret flour crumbled chicken skin with a choice between indomie and roasted corn seasoning. If you happen to like cheese, Lil Totters with jalapenos, sour cream, and hot homemade nacho cheese dips can be your choice. These menus are only available everyday after 3 pm.

As for the drinks, Mother Monster wants you to try her four signature cocktails. Chocolate Mar-three-ni is the first in the list on the liquid libation menu, offering you three kinds of liquor infused chocolate rims with vodka as the base. As you drink, each glass will bring you different pleasure. Another favorite drink is Pleasure Garden, a hanging tear drop shaped glass with gin, black raspberry liquor, raspberry syrup and fresh lemon juice. The bar inside the green room is serving a full bar. So even if your favorite alcohol is not in the menu, the bartender will happily create one for you.
