As the appreciation of Whisky is rising in Indonesia, the events by Auchentoshan will be able to accommodate public’s curiosity about this spirit. For the enthusiasts, it will give more excitement and fun experience while enjoying the drink.
Taking its part in food and beverages industry, Auchentoshan in Indonesia is also collaborating with Chef Renatta Moeloek to create some new canapé menus that inspired by the whisky: Auchentoshan 12 Year Old, 18 Year Old, 21 Year Old, and Three Wood. You will be able to enjoy them at Flow Bar & Lounge, and will be accompanied by live music and Dj performance.
Auchentoshan 12 Year Old is paired with Corriander Tofu Cheese with Strawberry Salsa Prawn, Chicken Liver Pate, and Toast Spiced Pumpkin Tart. The menu is to compliment the nuttiness taste from the whisky. Auchentoshan 18 Year Old meanwhile is paired with Chicken Karaage with Peanut Butter and Tamarind Syrup, Hamburg Steak and Burnt Honey Caramel and Garam Massala Ontjom Croquettes. The strong flavor from the menu is suitable for the whisky which has a tobacco after taste.
Auchentoshan 21 Year Old is paired with Ginger Butterscotch Tart With Orange Peel Honey & Mustard and Anchovies Escargots. Both food and drinks showcasing an elegant taste. And lastly, Auchentoshan Three Wood is paired with Beef with Sweet Potato & Orange, Roasted Cauliflower & Chocolate Tartlet, Keluak & Truffle Cream Filled Chouz Pastries. This menu is especially complex and smooth, really suitable for the fruity and sweet whisky.
