On March 31, 2016 H3 (The Hotel PR Associations of ) held its fourth PR 101 series “Hospitality Public Relations in the Era of MEA” in Jakarta. Approximately 60 Public Relations of Jakarta and greater area, H3 honorary member, senior media figure were present and supported the event.
The event started at 09.30 am, with an opening remarks by H3 Jakarta’s Chairman, Marlene Danusutedjo. On this occasion Marlene explains that H3 aims to share experiences and knowledge to practitioners in the hotel PR, to support their work as Public Relations. Followed by a speech by Ms. Sri Sekartadji Asmoro, founder and chairman of H3 and Mrs. Dotty Lilipaly of BPP IHRA.
Also present as speakers were Prita Kemal Gani MBA, MCIPR, APR roomates presented her presentation “Competence of Public Relations Indonesia in ASEAN”. Prita is the Founder and Director of LSPR, President of ASEAN PR and is currently listed as an active Advisory Board of BPP Perhumas. The second speaker was Ichwan Thoha, renowned Fashion Designer by bringing the session “Power Dressing”. While Petty S. Fatimah as Chief Community Officer Media and Chief Editor of Femina Magazine Femina brought the session of “The function of public relations in the era of MEA”.
This 101 PR event was held to coincide with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of H3 celebration. For this special event, H3 collaborated with pianist and composer maestro Ananda Sukarlan and provided scholarships for the Ananda Sukarlan Center under GNOTA. Currently H3 has 12 foster children at the primary and junior high school. Meanwhile, the scholarships are awarded to six (6) H3 foster children. The scholarships were symbolically handed over directly by Ananda Sukarlan to GNOTA.
