Jakarta, 4 October 2017 – Today grandkemang Jakarta is transformed into an art gallery where more than 50 artists and designers put their work to be exhibited under ICAD 2017: MURNI?. The annual event is organized by Yayasan Design+Art Indonesia since 2009. Diana Nazir as Festival Director is happy to see many public figures and visioners attended the grand opening night, all together with hundreds of art enthusiasts in town.
Triawan Munaf, Head of Creative Economy Agency of Indonesia, and Rosan P. Roeslani, Kadin chairman, inaugurated the exhibition. B.J Habibie, the third president of Indonesia, also visits and shows his support for the creative industry. ICAD 2017 is supported by the Indonesian government and embassies of Italia and Sweeden.
