Charity Gala Diner to Help Papuan Women with Cervix Cancer
This year’s Srikandi Annual Gala Dinner will be held at The Ritz Carlton Mega Kuningan to celebrate their 17th anniversary.
Srikandi will use the occasion to support Papuan Women with cervix cancer and generally raise awareness for Papuan Women and families who have limited access to proper health and medical facilities.
A night of splendour and entertainment is planned with a range of activities such as auctions, exhibitions and performances with Papua theme.
Tesa Idol will perform, a cat model walk to showcase Papuan Batik. And for the fund raising there will be auctions with a host of luxury prizes such as free nights at luxury 5 Star hotels, fin art and more.
All proceeds will be given to LION’s Club Centennial Cendrawasih programme to support Papuan women with cervix cancer.
“The Annual Gala Dinner is the most important and the biggest events in our Annual Calendar and we’ve chosen to dedicate it to women of Papua Women because currently they are one of the highest risk of cervix cancer in Indonesia. Srikandi is an associationof Indonesian women in multinational marriages. This organization aims to support system and networking forum for Indonesian women married to or previously married to non Indonesians.
