FLOW Bar & Restaurant is one of the hippest place in Kuningan to enjoy a lively bar culture and music as well as grabbing a quick bite or sit down and pair your meal with beer or cocktail or wine and chill the night away.
Not just a bar, FLOW has a full menu to cater the lunch and dinner crowd, offering a creative range of western and asian specialties from sandwiches, steaks, seafood item, pasta and lately, a new selection of Indonesian food items.
The new traditional soups that they offer include street favorites such as Soto Ayam, Soto Betawi, and Oxtail Soup.
Unlike regular traditional soups, however, FLOW takes the ingredients and presentation up a notch such as with their Soto Ayam 75k); In addition to the generous porion of cooked rice vermicelli, is served with shimeji mushrooms, and instead of hard boiled eggs, has a perfectly cooked poached egg on top. It is also served with homemade sambal and also bakwan jagung. A perfect meal when you crave for something warm and fulling.
Their Grilled Oxtail soup (160k) has been slow cooked and very well marinated resulting in a sweet and succulent and fall-off-the bone tender meat, perfect to be enjoyed with the home made sambal on top with rice and and a side of warm vegetable soup on the side.
For a slightly fusion type meal, try the Spaghetti Salmon with Mango Chili (120k) with a base spaghetti aglio olio (a popular dish in Jakarta), topped with sliced young mango salsa, and topped with a good portion of lightly-cooked Norwegian Salmon.
For dessert, try FLOW’s version of lava or molten cake with a slightly different presentation. A decadent warm molten cake made with high quality dark chocolate perches on top of a desserts glass, suspended by a lavosh, over a vanilla ice cream and, again, the same durian paste mentioned above. As you cut the warm cake open, it will tumble down on top of the ice cream and ‘force’ you to spoon it all together. Warm and cold, into a delicious mess.
