This week, wind down to cool tunes and your favorite jams after work with friends while sipping new cocktails from FLOW Jakarta; to add their their signatures and international classics, their bartender has come up with some new ones;
Dark & Stormy
The U.S. Patent and Trademark office specify exactly how to make this drink: 1/2 oz. of Gosling’s black seal rum, topped with ginger beer in highball glass. All that added are lime and their homemade ginger candy as garnish to add a subtle dash of flavor to this already perfect drink.
Godfather
Marlon Brando’s favorite drink, The Godfather is a sweet but potent after-dinner cocktail from 1970s that you don’t see much of these days. Instead of the regular angostura bitters, FLOW uses homemade bitters, to give a more aromatic kick and garnish it with torched white chocolate. The drink represents a bygone era of dining filled with creamy sauces and giant slabs of beef finished off with cigars, strained belt buckles, and often gout.
Chocolate Martini
A box of chocolates is a classic Valentine’s Day treat, but a truffle isn’t the only way to enjoy your chocolate. A chocolate cocktail is easily just as delicious — and since it is larger than a bon bon, you’ll be able to savor it for more than just a few seconds! This chocolate martini is a classic that, like a chocolate truffle, never goes out of style.
