The Park Lane Jakarta is recently rewarded by Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) for building and displaying the Tallest Choux (Puff Pastry) Christmas Tree.
With the height of 9 Meter and diameter 2.65 meter, this magical Christmas tree was build in 15 days as a team work of all department related.
The tree is wrapped by 18.000 choux (puff pastries) with ingredients of 115.2 KG Flour, 76.8 KG Butter, 192 liter Water, 2.112 Eggs, 2.88 KG Salt and 5.76 KG Sugar.
Bapak Jaya Suprana and his wife, Ibu Aylawati Sarwono of MURI were presence at the ceremony and gave the award to Mr. Darrel Cartwright, General Manager of the hotel.
“Today, we are delighted to break the record as the Tallest Puff Pastry Christmas Tree. And I am very proud of my team’s hard work to make it all happens. Christmas is one of the most important events of all season, that’s why we want to showcase something extraordinary to our dear guests”, Mr. Darrel Cartwright quoted.
