Easter Care Brunch at Grandkemang

grandkemang Jakarta had successfully made the Easter Care Brunch as a day full of food and fun on last March 27, 2016! The festivity was held at Sperta Dining attended by up to 100 guests including adults and children.  It was always great to see all happy family faces from year to year.

The children were amused by the exciting activities from “my robot time” such as build a robot, soccer robot competition, basketball robot, and sumo robot battle. Grandkemang had also prepared other fun activities to entertain their afternoon with movie corner, cookies decorating and for sure the highlight of the children’s activities; egg hunting! Eggs were hid all over the lobby area. Chaos was to be expected as children competed against each other and stumbled on their own feet.

This brunch was the beginning of grandkemang’s charity program in 2016 in collaboration with The National Movement for Foster Parents (GN-OTA) by donating 20% from Easter Brunch purchase to the Public Elementary School Bangka 06 PG. From the total fund collected, grandkemang had contributed to support 30 children from 3^rd to 6^th grade.

The handing donation ceremony to the school as symbolic gesture was done by Mr. Florent Humeau as the Hotel Manager of grandkemang Jakarta on April 5, 2016 and witnessed by GN-OTA. The visit was greeted happily by the teachers and foster students. This charity program will continue on the upcoming Ramadan until Christmas this year.

Aston Priority Simatupang Hotel & Conference Center just announced the opening of its newest restaurant. The new Momiji Japanese Restaurant is officially opened for public on Monday, April 4, 2016. Located on 2nd floor, the restaurant features an extensive menu, including ozen, soup, salad, sushi sashimi, age mono, edomae unagi, nabemono, don buri, ochazuke, onigiri, tempura/ furai, teppanyaki, and dessert

Plane Collition in Halim Airport & Warung Turki/Turkuaz Weekly Quiz!

A Batik Air plane collided with a Transnusa Plane on the runway of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, on Monday (4/4), resulting in fire in Batik Air’s left wing and damage to both planes, but fortunately no injury.  Initially used specially for military, private and presidential purposes, Halim Perdana Kusuma has recently been utilized for commercial flights due to Soekarno Hatta’s over capacity. Yesterday’s 3-in-1 suspension trial has caused a major increase in traffic in Sudirman area, some parts of South Jakarta and Central Jakarta adding commuter’s travel time to up to 1 hour than usual. The temporary suspension, which will last for 2 weeks, was decided following the many cases of children exploitation by the 3-in-1 ‘jockeys’.

Hardwell Successfully Entertains 7.500 Jakarta Crowd For Three Hours

Two-time world’s no. 1 DJ, HARDWELL, successfully held his I AM HARDWELL – UNITED WE ARE WORLD TOUR in Jakarta, Indonesia, last Saturday, 2 April 2016 at Carnaval Beach, Ancol. Hardwell entertained 7.500 people in the crowd for three hours straight, from 12 midnight all the way till 3 AM.

After the show, Hardwell thanked the Jakarta crowd through an Instagram picture captioned ‘Thank you I AM Hardwell Jakarta!!’. In the picture, Hardwell is seen wearing a custom-made Indonesian national soccer team jersey with his name at the back that was given by a fan during the meet & greet session prior to the show.

 

Hardwell’s globally renowned I Am Hardwell – United We Are World Tour showcased state-of-the-art full production with a spectacular stage design, amazing lightings, complete with incredible pyrotechnics, and confetti that made the whole experience an unforgetabble one for everyone that was present.

 

The Dutch-origin DJ who was named World’s #1 DJ by DJ Mag in 2013 & 2014, as well as Best International DJ in 2015 in the prestigious DJ Awards, has been on the road to support his highly-anticipated debut album ‘United We Are’ that was released in 2015.
