Helo again there peeps!
Some of you will be on your way back to your hometown for the lebaran exodus, but many of you will also be staying put in the city throughout the holiday. We can safely say that it’s the best decision you can make! Every year, although the first day will see traffic gridlock from the morning, the rest of the lebaran holiday traffic in Jakarta is actually a lot more bearable than other times of the year (we notice it during Christmas too, but avoid the malls).
Perhaps it’s best to re-connect with your loved ones, with your family, and enjoy a little holiday of your own. What do you say to a little reading time? Or maybe plan your year-end travel? As you may have noticed we’ve spruced up our travel mpiece by also giving our curated recommendations on where to go, where to stay and how to make the most out of your holiday. And because we are a bunch of holiday-bums, we love reviewing our travels every now and then, so stay put for more interesting stories on our travels, our travel-wish and much much more…..
For our Moslem friends we personally wish you a peaceful Eid-al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1438 H……have a safe holiday!
