Peacock Lounge is partnering with the stylish fashion brand of Kate Spade New York to introduce its Fall 2017 collection and latest fashion themed afternoon tea, which will be available at Peacock Lounge from 20 September 2017 to 20 October 2017.

Inspired by Paris in the 1920s, the collection’s color palette is predominately red and black, featuring striking motif such as leopard prints, red poppies and cherries. It is a tribute to heroines who defy expectations and inspiration is drawn from three original rule-breakers; Louise Brooks, the quintessential flapper, le coquelicot (“poppy” in French), a mysterious and bold local beauty painted by Kees Van Dongen, and finally Josephine Barker, and American who followed her dreams to Paris and became a global jazz age icon. The Jakarta pastry team uses these collection inspirations to create a special afternoon tea set.

The tea set is presented in the famous white box from Peacock Lounge. On the top of the box are cherry-shaped Almond Amarena Cherries, black-and-white striped Black Sesame Panna Cotta, Mandarin Opera Cake with the Kate Spade New York French Bulldog print, leopard print Lavender Éclair, red Macaroon, beach hat-shaped Granny Apple Cheese Mousse, and handbag-shaped Lemon Butter Cake.

The first drawer is filled with Strawberry and Blueberry Tartlets, while the second drawer serves a variety of mini sandwiches, which breads are marinated with beetroot for a pop of red. You can also find Beef Ham Asparagus on Black Brioche Roll. The last drawer presents the warm homemade Scones in red color, along with Madeleine and condiments of clotted cream and jam.

To complete the experience, Peacock Lounge also showcases Kate Spade New York handbags, accessories and apparel from the collection. Guest who order the afternoon tea set will also receive a shopping voucher to be used at the Kate Spade New York Plaza Senayan store. And vice versa, customers who shop at the Kate Spade New York store in Plaza Senayan during the period will also receive a discount voucher at Peacock Lounge.

The Afternoon Tea with a Kate Spade New York twist is available until 20 October, daily from 1 to 5 p.m at IDR 588,000++/set including a selection of TWG tea or coffee for two.
